Life isn't all sunshine and lollipops. Sometimes it can be a real pain in the ass and that can take a toll on your self esteem. But there's a tool (among many others) you could use to lift your spirits. That's right, affirmations! I know lots of people give you affirmations but maybe you haven't found the right ones for you. 1. The greatest love I have is for myself.
Sometimes you give all our love to others and leave nothing for yourself. Oftentimes when this happens, you're left feeling empty. You are the only one who you spend all your time with. It can be hard to remember when people ask or demand your help and attention from all sides. But you have to leave a little love for you.

2. This is not the final stop.
Hardships come without warning and have the power to throw you off. Whether it's a dead end job, a terrible relationship or a setback from a goal, it has the potential to slow you down. If you give it a lot of power, it can stop you altogether. But there is more to your journey after this hump. The ride doesn't stop until you're not here anymore. So since you're still alive, you have more to do. Take solace in that.

3. My tears show my strength.
I cry way more often than I like to admit. And I'm sure some of you guys she'd some frustration tears too. They don't make you weak. They are the release you need so you can push forward. It'll be easier to get to the next step without that extra emotional baggage.

4. One day, I will laugh at this.
There are problems I used to worry about years ago that make me giggle now. Not everything we worry about it actually that important in the long run. Some things are so ridiculously small, they're laughable. It'll take a while to develop that sense of humor, but it will come.

5. No one could be a better me.
Do you know why? Because they don't know how. Someone could try to look like you, sound like you or even act like you. But it won't look real to anyone who really knows you. So just be yourself.
